Larimar is a rare variety of pectolite, found only in the Dominican Republic. Its soft, soothing blue with white patterns resembles sunlight beneath the Caribbean waters. It was discovered in the 19th century, and its name derives from the name of the discoverer's daughter, Larissa, and the word "sea," referring to the colors where it was found, forming the word "Lari-Mar." Due to its color and vibration, it promotes calm, peaceful states of consciousness and inner peace .
