White Labradorite ( commercially known as Moonstone ) is considered a sacred stone in India. Moonstone is a variety of adularia, belonging to the feldspar group. Like its twin, labradorite, its reflection occurs through the phenomenon of adularescence, whereby the mineral emits its characteristic glow when light strikes it at a specific angle. It is recommended for physical and emotional healing and for restoring balance to the body.
