DESCRIPTION
Apatite is a calcium phosphate of hydrothermal origin. Among the most common are blue, brown, green, and colorless apatites. The name apatite comes from the Greek "apate," meaning "deceitful," since its resemblance to other minerals such as beryl, tourmaline, and aquamarine can be confusing. This name evokes the Greek goddess of deceit and fraud, Apaté. Associated with the Throat Chakra, it stimulates the communication, creativity and calm.
